Nhà quản lý tài sản kỹ thuật số Valkyrie Investments đã trở thành công ty mới nhất cập nhật lại hồ sơ đăng ký Bitcoin ETF với SEC vào tuần trước.
Tuyên bố đăng ký sửa đổi nhằm mục đích cung cấp cổ phần của Quỹ Bitcoin Valkyrie, quỹ sẽ nắm giữ bitcoin trực tiếp nếu được chấp thuận. ETF sẽ giao dịch với mã “BRRR” trên Nasdaq.
Valkyrie cho biết hồ sơ vẫn chưa hoàn tất và cổ phiếu chưa thể bán được. Bản cập nhật theo sau việc SEC đẩy lùi thời gian ra quyết định về quỹ ETF bitcoin được đề xuất của Valkyrie vào tháng 9.
Một số công ty sửa đổi hồ sơ Bitcoin ETF của họ
Ít nhất sáu công ty khác, bao gồm cả những công ty nặng ký như Fidelity và BlackRock, đã sửa đổi hồ sơ ETF bitcoin của họ gần đây. Một loạt các bản cập nhật được coi là một dấu hiệu đầy hứa hẹn về tiến trình đạt được các phê duyệt đã được chờ đợi từ lâu.
SEC tiếp tục đánh giá danh sách ngày càng tăng các ứng dụng ETF bitcoin giao ngay. Chủ tịch SEC, Gary Gensler, cho biết vào tuần trước rằng hiện có 8 đến 10 đề xuất như vậy được đưa ra trước cơ quan quản lý.
Một số công ty lớn như WisdomTree và Franklin Templeton cho đến nay vẫn chưa sửa đổi hồ sơ của họ. Nhưng động lực tiếp tục từ những người nộp đơn cho thấy niềm tin đang được xây dựng xung quanh các quỹ ETF bitcoin vào năm 2023.
Với thời hạn sắp đến vào tháng 1 và tháng 2, SEC phải đối mặt với áp lực ngày càng tăng để cuối cùng phê duyệt một quỹ bitcoin giao ngay sau khi từ chối tất cả các đơn đăng ký cho đến nay. Các sửa đổi cho thấy các cuộc đàm phán đang diễn ra ở hậu trường có thể đưa các cơ quan quản lý đến gần hơn với một quyết định lịch sử.
