Ủy ban Chứng khoán và Giao dịch Hoa Kỳ (SEC) đã đồng ý xem xét đơn đăng ký từ hai nhà quản lý tài sản hàng đầu là ARK Invest và VanEck cho các quỹ giao dịch giao ngay (ETF) trực tiếp sở hữu Ethereum.
Theo trang web của SEC, cơ quan này đã đưa ra thời hạn lấy ý kiến công chúng là 45 ngày đối với cả hai hồ sơ. Công chúng có thể đưa ra quan điểm của mình về việc SEC nên phê duyệt hay từ chối ETF cũng như những lợi ích và rủi ro tiềm ẩn của các sản phẩm đó là gì.
ARK 21Shares Ethereum ETF là liên doanh giữa ARK Invest của Cathie Wood, một công ty đầu tư trị giá 60 tỷ USD và 21Shares, một công ty quản lý tài sản kỹ thuật số cung cấp ETP tiền điện tử ở Châu Âu.
ETF sẽ theo dõi giá ETH bằng cách sử dụng Tỷ giá tham chiếu Ether-Dollar CME CF.
