Khu vực Châu Á Thái Bình Dương tiếp tục là khu vực có tầm quan trọng chiến lược. Ripple cho biết 90% các nhà lãnh đạo toàn cầu tin rằng blockchain và tiền điện tử sẽ có tác động đáng kể đến kinh doanh, tài chính và xã hội trong ba năm tới.
Trên thực tế, gần một nửa các nhà lãnh đạo tài chính Châu Á Thái Bình Dương có ý định sử dụng tiền điện tử để thanh toán xuyên biên giới trong tương lai. Về triển vọng tương lai, đại diện Ripple nhấn mạnh:
“Nói chung, các khoản thanh toán trên khắp Châu Á Thái Bình Dương sẽ tiếp tục có xu hướng ngày càng kỹ thuật số — khối lượng giao dịch không dùng tiền mặt dự kiến sẽ tăng 109% vào năm 2025 — và Ripple sẽ tiếp tục ưu tiên khu vực này để áp dụng các giải pháp thanh toán toàn cầu của mình.”
Trong vài ngày qua, một số công ty đã thành công trong việc xin được giấy phép ở Singapore. Cơ quan tiền tệ của Singapore đã cấp cho công ty con của ngân hàng tiền điện tử Sygnum có trụ sở tại Thụy Sĩ giấy phép Tổ chức thanh toán lớn (MPI).
Chỉ trong khoảng thời gian bốn tháng, ngay cả Sygnum cũng đã nâng cấp được trạng thái của mình từ phê duyệt về nguyên tắc lên giấy phép đầy đủ. Trên thực tế, ngay cả công ty này hiện cũng có ý định mở rộng việc cung cấp sản phẩm được quản lý sang thị trường Châu Á Thái Bình Dương.
Ngay trước Sygnum, Coinbase cũng đã nhận được giấy phép MPI từ ngân hàng trung ương Singapore. Sàn giao dịch nhấn mạnh rằng 25% người Singapore coi tiền điện tử là “tương lai của tài chính”.
Hơn nữa, 32% trong số họ đã từng sở hữu hiện tại hoặc trước đây của tiền điện tử. Các số liệu thống kê rõ ràng chỉ ra thực tế rằng Singapore đương nhiên đã trở thành một địa điểm quan trọng cho ngành công nghiệp tiền điện tử đang phát triển.
