Trong diễn biến mới nhất, ngân hàng trung ương Singapore đã ban hành lệnh cấm 9 năm đối với những người sáng lập Three Arrows Capital Kyle Davies và Su Zhu vì cáo buộc vi phạm luật chứng khoán của nước này.

Vào thứ Năm, ngày 14 tháng 9, Cơ quan tiền tệ Singapore (MAS) cho biết trong một tuyên bố rằng Davies và Zhu đã bị cấm tham gia các hoạt động được quản lý trong thời gian cấm, bắt đầu từ ngày 13 tháng 9.

Hơn nữa, MAS cũng đã cấm họ quản lý, làm giám đốc hoặc thậm chí là cổ đông lớn của bất kỳ doanh nghiệp dịch vụ thị trường vốn nào hoạt động tại Singapore. 

Loo Siew Yee, trợ lý giám đốc điều hành chính sách, thanh toán và tội phạm tài chính của MAS, nói:

“MAS có quan điểm nghiêm túc về việc ông Zhu và ông Davies coi thường trắng trợn các yêu cầu pháp lý của MAS và lơ là nhiệm vụ. MAS sẽ hành động để loại bỏ những quản lý cấp cao có hành vi sai trái như vậy.”
