Andrew Peel, người đứng đầu thị trường tài sản kỹ thuật số tại Morgan Stanley, nhấn mạnh tầm quan trọng của việc phê duyệt Bitcoin ETF giao ngay trong một ghi chú.

Ông tuyên bố rằng những phê duyệt này là một cột mốc rất quan trọng trong việc hệ thống tài chính toàn cầu chấp nhận Bitcoin.

Theo ghi chú, 15 năm trước, Bitcoin chỉ là một ý tưởng được thảo luận trên một diễn đàn internet. Ngày nay, BTC đã trở thành một tài sản lớn trong thế giới tài chính với việc được Phố Wall áp dụng dưới hình thức Bitcoin ETF giao ngay.

Theo Peel, sự phát triển này có thể cho thấy “một sự thay đổi tư duy tiềm năng trong nhận thức và sử dụng tài sản kỹ thuật số toàn cầu”.

Peel cũng đưa ra cái nhìn tổng quan về các mối đe dọa hiện tại đối với sự thống trị của đồng đô la Mỹ. Hiện tại, 60% số dư dự trữ ngoại hối toàn cầu được giữ bằng đô la.

Ngược lại, đồng nhân dân tệ của Trung Quốc chỉ chiếm 2,5% trong số dư này, bất chấp những nỗ lực gần đây của nước này nhằm tăng cường ngoại thương.

Theo nhà phân tích, một số mối đe dọa “phi đô la hóa” có thể làm xói mòn sự thống trị của đồng đô la. Một trong những mối đe dọa này là việc áp dụng Bitcoin trên toàn thế giới.

Peel tuyên bố rằng 100 triệu người trên toàn thế giới sở hữu tiền điện tử và có máy ATM Bitcoin ở 82 quốc gia.

Ông lưu ý rằng khối lượng giao dịch stablecoin đã cạnh tranh với các trung tâm thanh toán bù trừ kỹ thuật số truyền thống như Visa và PayPal trong những năm gần đây.
