Theo email khách hàng mà Cointelegraph thu được, những thay đổi sẽ có hiệu lực vào ngày 30 tháng 11.
Người phát ngôn của Kraken đã xác nhận việc này qua email, nói rằng nền tảng này liên tục kiểm tra tài sản được niêm yết của mình để đảm bảo tuân thủ các tiêu chuẩn cao nhất trong ngành tiền điện tử.
Quyết định này được đưa ra nhằm đáp ứng những thay đổi quy định gần đây ở Canada và được đưa ra sau các cuộc thảo luận rộng rãi với Cơ quan Quản lý Chứng khoán Canada (CSA) và Ủy ban Chứng khoán Ontario (OSC).
Tuy nhiên, kể từ ngày 30 tháng 11, chức năng gửi tiền và giao dịch sẽ chấm dứt đối với các tài sản nêu trên. Người dùng sẽ không thể rút những tài sản này nữa kể từ ngày 4 tháng 12.
Email cũng giải thích rằng số tài sản liên quan còn lại sẽ được quy đổi sang đô la Mỹ theo tỷ giá thị trường hiện hành kể từ ngày 5 tháng 12. Số tiền được chuyển đổi sau đó sẽ được chuyển vào tài khoản của người dùng.
