Trong một cuộc phỏng vấn gần đây với Bloomberg, Belshe gợi ý rằng SEC có thể từ chối các đơn đăng ký hiện có do thiếu sự phân biệt giữa các sàn giao dịch và tổ chức lưu ký.
Một số đơn đăng ký đã chọn Coinbase làm đối tác giám sát cho quỹ ETF của họ.
Belshe bày tỏ lo ngại về những rủi ro liên quan đến Coinbase, nói rằng: “Có rất nhiều rủi ro với Coinbase mà chúng ta chưa hiểu rõ”.
