Công ty quản lý tài sản BlackRock đã xác nhận rằng hồ sơ ETF Bitcoin spot của họ vẫn đang được Ủy ban Chứng khoán và Giao dịch Hoa Kỳ (SEC) xem xét.
Thông báo trên của BlackRock được đưa ra sau khi có nhiều tin đồn nói rằng ETF Bitcoin spot của BlackRock đã được SEC phê duyệt.
Tin tức xuất hiện trên Cointelegraph vào lúc 20:30 (theo giờ Việt Nam), trang tin tiền điện tử cho rằng ETF Bitcoin spot của iShares đã được thông qua. Ngay lập tức giá BTC dựng cột gần 10%.
BlackRock là một trong nhiều tổ chức tài chính đang tìm cách đưa ETF Bitcoin đầu tiên đến Hoa Kỳ. Tuy nhiên, một báo cáo từ Eric Balchunas của Bloomberg đã xác nhận rằng không có chuyện SEC phê duyệt ETF Bitcoin vào thời điểm này và tin tức trên chỉ là tin đồn.
Sau khi được xác nhận là “fake news”, giá BTC lập tức quay về vị trí cũ, thậm chí còn giảm một chút so với ban đầu trước khi nổ ra tin đồn.
Đơn đăng ký ETF Bitcoin của BlackRock vẫn đang được xem xét
Một trong những câu chuyện hàng đầu trong lĩnh vực tiền điện tử năm nay là nhiệm vụ đạt được sự chấp thuận cho quỹ ETF Bitcoin spot tại Hoa Kỳ. Trong vài tháng qua, lượng hồ sơ xin cấp phép ETF Bitcoin đã tràn ngập văn phòng của SEC, hồ sơ được gửi từ rất nhiều tổ chứ lớn.
BlackRock cho biết đơn xin hoạt động ETF Bitcoin của họ vẫn đang được SEC xem xét. Tổ chức này tin rằng 100% quỹ ETF Bitcoin của họ sẽ được phê duyết.
Erich Balchunas của Bloomberg sau đó đã khẳng định rằng việc phê duyệt đơn đăng ký là không đúng. Hơn nữa, ông lưu ý rằng BlackRock “Mọi thứ lđang được đánh giá. Tuy nhiên, vẫn có sự lạc quan rằng sự chấp thuận sẽ đến sớm hơn. Tuy nhiên, sự chấp thuận đó vẫn chưa đến hôm nay”
