Theo thống kê từ công ty nghiên cứu độc lập CCData, khối lượng giao dịch hàng tháng của Binance.US, đã giảm mạnh 98% từ tháng 1 đến tháng 8 năm 2022 và dự đoán sẽ còn giảm thêm vào tháng 9.
Khối lượng giao dịch trên Binance.US đã giảm xuống còn 5,09 triệu USD vào cuối tuần. Để so sánh, khối lượng giao dịch của sàn giao dịch là khoảng 230 triệu USD vào ngày 17 tháng 9 năm 2022.
Phần lớn sự sụt giảm xảy ra sau tháng 3, trùng với thời điểm Ủy ban Giao dịch Hàng hóa Tương lai Hoa Kỳ cáo buộc Giám đốc điều hành Binance Changpeng Zhao vì vi phạm quy định.
Vào tháng 6, Ủy ban Chứng khoán và Giao dịch Hoa Kỳ đã khởi xướng hành động pháp lý chống lại Binance.US vì một loạt vi phạm, bao gồm cáo buộc về kiểm soát giao dịch và giám sát trên nền tảng Binance.US.
Sau vụ kiện, Binance.US đã đình chỉ giao dịch đối với hơn 100 cặp token, dẫn đến hoạt động trao đổi và niềm tin của nhà đầu tư giảm đáng kể.
